The cans' interior and lids have an epoxy phenolic resin coating that resists rust, corrosion, chemical reactions, and damage from alkaline products.
  • Safe and Secure Storage: When used with oil-based paint and solvent-based coatings, these durable, sturdy, leak-proof metal cans resist chemical reactions and corrosion. Note: Do not use these unlined metal cans to store water-based paint, latex coatings, or any liquids containing water, as water will cause rust within the can, ruining the paint. We recommend using rubber mallets for secure lid closure.
